ACTIVE HOLIDAYS WITH CHILDREN
Holiday fun for the entire family
Today it is off to the mountains, tomorrow to the pool, the day after biking is on... For children, summer holidays can never be too versatile. So you might be glad to hear that Pustertal and the Dolomites offer an immensely wide range of free time activities for the entire family. In addition to the classics of summer activities such as hiking, biking and swimming, the area offers much more to surprise little jocks and adventurers with.
Free time activities for kids of all ages
- Classic: hiking, biking, swimming
- Several horse riding stables around Kronplatz
- High Wire Adventure Park in Issing
- Zip-Line in St. Vigil
Horse Riding
Cuddling with ponies, trotting over meadows and galloping through forests on the back of a Haflinger horse or taking a coach drive... Such experiences are especially fascinating for our little horse fans. The spectacular landscape surrounding our Park Hotel Schönblick is ideal for trips and excursions on horseback. The horse stables in the holiday region Kronplatz offer something for everyone, from riding classes for beginners and advanced riders over Western style and pony rides to riding trips across the valley of Pustertal, thus making it possible for every horse fan to live an unforgettable holiday experience.
High Wire Adventure Park
What is plain fun for kids can also be an adventure for adults. The high wire adventure park KRONaction in Issing is situated at a short car drive from our hotel. This adventure forest holds climbing walls, suspension bridges, nets, rope slides and other obstacles. You can choose from several safely secured parcours on different heights and levels so that children of all ages find a challenge matching their skills – even toddlers!
Zip-Line
The Zip-Line in the nearby village St. Vigil stands for adventure, adrenaline and fun in nature and is also suitable for older kids. Whether young or old, it takes a little bit of courage to participate, because on the Zip-Line, which is the longest of its kind in Europe, you will fly up to 100m above the ground, hanging only by a secured rope. The reward for this risk lies in experiencing one of the most fascinating landscapes of the Dolomites up close and enjoying spectacular panoramic views while adrenaline is rushing through your blood.
